Discrimination,

Hundreds of thousands of these fascists bigots are littered throughtout our society as with the city board of education. They are in positions that do great harm to our nation, people of different races and LGBT peoples. That school board is more than likely headed by a fascist and their "clique" who rules with fear, holding peoples jobs over their heads. If we didn't have such a thing as "employment at will" (which New York and Louisiana both have), where people can be fired for triavial things which have nothing to do with race or sexual orientation, things that could be evaluated by a consortium and a process of retraining, companies could retain good employees and get rid of bad supervisors. Whomever implemented such a ban at that school should be terminated, unfortunately they may have been elected to a "term" but at the least, receive a reprimand or a censor as the legislature does. But having supervisory personal who play their cards of control right and take over a section of a company or government which is tantamount to a coup is bad business and bad government and the results are good employees lose their jobs, companies lose employee input and things don't get better. The discrimination and nepotism deteriates the enviornment and the results are exactly as this school board in Alabama, people begin to enforce their own ideals upon others and become a despot.
There is now and has been a secret society, (I can only speak of male dominated employments where I have experienced this), in male dominated employment, where verbal tactics are used to work over a person through a period of time to learn how that person feels about certain things (homosexuality) and eventually they are pushed out or over looked at promotions. A person is scrutinized and analyzed on a continueing basis and this was done with me while at sea. They will literally go through your personal effects while out on a duty or job working, say things about homosexuality and gay's to get reactions from a person and if someone says anything to the contrary they are deemed "gay" and will be ostricized as being a homosexual. It's the same game as calling a white, back in the days, a white who was kind to blacks and spoke things like they thought it was wrong the way blacks are treated, were called a "(N) lover". The only way a white male could get away with it was to say "Thas a good ole (N) thare", meaning, he works hard and knows his "place".
Hate hasn't changed and never will and as I say "haters are all alike", even through all time.
It's the preverbal "good ole boy" regime, and it is still perpetuated today against Blacks, Hispanics and those suspect of being "gay". In certain industry jobs where a race congregates signifies they have been pushed out of another industry or they have found a door open into that employment, as in "garbage collector" or "dishwasher", and I notice now, CNA's.
It's horrible. In a country that is called free, it's an oxymoron for these people to claim their patriotism along with their blatent discriminations and violations of our national Constitution and usually because of some vain religious beliefs that have no basis in fact.
Our country has a long way to go. We have only moved forward an inch since brown vs board of education and the Civil Rights Act of 1991. Today our enemy is the religious political right who are using the bible scriptures as scare tactics to build a voting base and discrimiinate agianst anyone who has "one drop" of homosexuality.
I'm out everyday in all avenues of life. Being seen by the public and being known by the public will be the only way we will begin to see acceptance.
